Sometimes I like to dress up for Mother Nature...I think she is fancy, so I want to be too.
This was my cozy weekend outfit in comfy layers of soft sweaters, and to spice up the chunky knits I piled on some leopard accessories.
I always feel so glamorous and old-ladyish in leopard-- which makes me feel happy and sophisticated.

Sheer

I am obsessed with this American Apparel sheer chiffon oversized button up.
The American Apparel top in chiffon has a luxurious and sensual quality that I love.
The oversized button up balances the tight skirt and polka dot top, creating a more casual look than the outfit would have without it.
I can already tell I am going to get this top in more colors.
It will be perfect to dress up jeans for work and perfect to layer over going out clothes.

Fab!

I was thrilled that my Tangled Up in Blue post was featured as the "Look of the Day" by FabSugar here.
The outfit was last seen on my blog in this post here.
Thank you Veronica for taking these great photos!

Good Taste!

My family got to enjoy a delicious meal together to celebrate my brother's birthday.
We went to Sushi Ran in Sausalito to enjoy an insanely awesome Japanese meal consisting of super fresh and organic ingredients.
The ambiance is incredibly pleasant and the flavors are delightful.
And how awesome does my brother look with his cool outfit that matches the tea cup?
I highly recommend this restaurant.

Dead Head

(Tshirt-Wasteland, sweater-Urban Outfitters, jeans-Gap, purse-H&M, shoes-Sam Edelman, accessories-Vintage,H&M,Wasteland)
I love this Grateful Dead Tshirt I got from Wasteland on Haight St. when I had my day of shopping and being a tourist in my own city as seen in this post here.
I was in 6th grade when I was introduced to the Grateful Dead and would be singing songs like 'Casey Jone's' not knowing what the lyrics meant.
I was inspired by Sincerely Jules to layer on accessories to glam up a vintage Tshirt from her post here.
rock on...

oh, and check out my Mom's feature on Style Me Pretty for her amazing wedding florals she did. Go Savage Rose!

Deco Blue

(skirt-H&M,top-GapBody,purse/necklace/earrings-Forever 21, shoes-Coach,rings-Vintage/Monkey on Chestnut,belt-DIY)

I love the Art Deco feel the pattern on the skirt and necklace give combined with the antique teal colored top.
To add a little flair I put on a DIY tassel belt to nod to the 20's deco inspiration with a modern twist.

Happy Spring

It's officially Spring.
Hooray!
I hope this Spring brings everyone fun adventures and lots of sunshine.

Haight St. & The Mission

(top-Urban Outfitters, bag-Isabella Fiore,hat-Vintage)
Had the best day on Saturday being a tourist in my own city.
Gina so kindly snapped the photos of me on our outing, and I took the others.
We went to Wasteland on Haight St. and then ventured through whimsical Vintage and Tibetan stores.
Then we hopped over to The Mission for a food truck dinner and bar outing.
