Too much fringe is definitely an oxymoron.
Fringe is so super fun and spices up any outfit in my opinion--as it is flirty and fun.

How psychedelically awesome is this 70’s paisley print!?!
I love this dress--it's so super easy to wear and I love that all I have to do is throw it on and it makes a statement.
I added the neon orange belt for a quirky pop and to break up the wild print.
I wore this dress wine and Champagne tasting in Napa--which proved to be a super comfortable dress and perfect for the warm weather.
I have such a weak spot for crazy retro prints--do you?  I mean, how fun would the world look if everyone wore crazy 70s inspired prints all the time?

This pic is from last Saturday night while we were chillin' drinking some good ol' Crown Royal before heading out to an epic San Francisco roof-top party that included a jam session on the roof--guitar, harmonica and accordian included.  I even got creative and used the giant salt shaker from the B-B-Q station as a maraca.  I love these crazy cat eye sunglasses from Urban.

This J.Crew vest is hard not to put on in the morning.  It seems to go with and spice up everything and has massive pockets to hold all my knick-knacks.
Love the combo of army green with shades of pink these days.
I took these photos myself again.  It is sort of fun, sort of stressful to do my own photos.  I realized I look so serious when I do it myself since no one is there to make me laugh :( .
Well here is to doing whatcha gotta do to make ish happen--shout out to all the blogger girls who take their own photos!!!

White Freeze

(dress-Urban Outfitters, lace throw-Wasteland, necklace-Anthropologie, shoes-Sam Edelman, belt-J.Crew)
I'm sucha fan of the Bohemian combo of crochet and lace.  Instead of going more indie-hippie with this look I wanted to make it a little more interesting so I paired it with tougher boots and goth-noir dark red lips.
So little secret about these pics...I took them myself!  So embarrassing, but think they turned out ok for my first shoot with the automatic timer right?  It was soooo foggy when I took these pics in the late evening so the first few pics are super grainy, but I sort of love the feel the grain gives them.  Then suddenly right before the sun was going to set the fog parted and I got some sunlight to play with.  My heart melts for photos with crazy blazing's so magical!

Tangerine Dream

(dress-Madewell buy here, shoes-Sam Edelman, vest-J.Crew, necklace-Gift, purse/friendship bracelets-Forever 21, nails-Wet 'n Wild)
Doesn't 'Tangerine Dream' just make you want to daydream about Summertime?
My friend's lovely orange sherbet bike is nicknamed Tangerine Dream.
I love the way it sounds and thought it complemented this super dreamy tangerine dress from Madewell. I want to float in a Tangerine Dream and it is really making me want an orange flavored creamsicle popsicle right now--Yum!

Red, White & Blue

(Vintage skirt/top-Wasteland, bow-American Apparel, earrings-Forever 21, red headband/bracelet/belt-J.Crew, shoes-Seychelles, sunnies-Urban Outfitters, nails-Wet 'n Wild)

Hope y'all had a great 4th of July. I spent my long weekend in Yosemite and on the 4th got to BBQ with my family which made it a perfect weekend.
This is just about as preppy as I can get.  The contrast collar and cuffs on the shirt were a major selling point for me.  I also totally dig this Vintage railroad stripe skirt from Wasteland.  Something is so classic and fresh about red, white and blue that I just might have to keep wearing this patriotic combo all Summer.
