I'm in the LYLIF LookBook... & I'm their 'Current Crush'!

I am beyond excited to share that LYLIF has featured me in their new Day to Night LookBook.
(ohmygosh I'm so excited, pinch me!)
And if that wasn't flattering enough, they have chosen me and The Hourglass blog as their 'Current Crush' !!!!
I am so honored and incredibly thankful for their support of my blog.
The LookBook features amazing accessories from their site.
I got to style the apparel from my own wardrobe and they styled all of the accessories and jewelry!
It is pretty surreal to be featured on a brand's home page in multiple places (a girl's dreams do come true)!
Below is a peek at some of the photos from the lookbook!

All photography by the talented Richard Park.

A big heartfelt thank you to the LYLIF team for everything! xoxo

Happy New Year!

From Berkeley to Japan

(top/skirt-Gap, shoes-Sam Edelman, purse-DIY,sash-thrift,rings-thrift/vintage)
-All photos by Brittany from Work It, Berk-
I went to Berkeley and met up wtih the super sweet Brittany from Work It, Berk and she was so sweet to feature me on her blog here.
We went onto campus and found this lovely patch of Cherry Blossom trees which seemed fitting for the Japan Tshirt I was wearing.
Representing ONE LOVE from Berkeley to Japan--I wore my Japan Tshirt from Gap where the profits from the Tshirt are donated to the GlobalGiving Japan Relief fund.
You can buy the Japan shirts from Gap here.
There hasn't been a day that has gone by where I havn't thought about Japan and the hardships they have faced.  I am proud to wear this Tshirt in support of Japan and as a reminder of the small ways we can help.
Peace and Love!

Harlem Shuffle

(shawl sweater-80's Vintage from Chick-A-Boom Vintage, dress-UO, shoes-Jeffrey Campbell, hat-Vintage, sunglasses-ModCloth)

These photos were taken by the lovely Veronica Suh, please visit her site to see more of her photography here.

I found the most amazing vintage shop in Petaluma called Chick-A-Boom Vintage, and I got this 80's vintage sweater there.
I love the details on it--the fringe beads on the edge of the collar and the sequined and beaded Navajo inspired pattern on the collar just makes me smitten.
Sometimes I just die over Vintage pieces.
I got this dress on super sale at UO, and thought it created a nice 80's Rocker-Goth vibe with the sweater and hat.

This skirt is so awesome!
I love how it is long, but the majority of it is sheer creating an edgy sexy look for a long skirt.
This outfit was fun to wear b/c I felt like I was wearing everything but the kitchen sink.
We just so happened to stumble upon this awesome bike yard which ended up being the perfect backdrop.

Tangled up in Blue

(top-J.Crew, skirt- Leifsdottir, purse-Vintage, faux fur-H&M, earrings-Kate Spade, heels-Stuart Weitzman, necklaces-Vintage/J.Crew pin)

I was incredibly lucky to get to do a fun fashion photo shoot with the well known (and not to mention lovely) Bay Area photographer Veronica Suh.
Veronica is also my colleague and friend, so we spent the day laughing, catching up, eating cupcakes and exploring each other's creativity through fashion and photography.
For more of her amazing work please check out her site and blog @ VeroSuh Photography.
Enjoy!
And stay posted as there is more to come!
