Family Road Trip to Carmel

This is my brother and sister.
We went on a family road trip to Carmel to celebrate my sister's birthday!
We took the scenic route on Highway 1, and the road trip up there was insanely gorgeous in between all this rain!
We stopped in Half Moon Bay and Santa Cruz, and we pranced around the amazing beaches to soak in some of that invigorating sea breeze.
When we got to Carmel we did the famous 17 mile drive, which is such a majestic experience!
I know it seems silly to wear sequins and leather pants on a road trip--but seriously, why the hell not?!
It's a birthday celebration anyways -- so it's better to be festive.  Plus honestly this outfit was sooo comfortable and cozy.
The Birthday Girl! Yippee!
The brother!
He has been a sport lately taking my photos. (thanks David, I love you man)

More pics from the trip to come!  We had so much fun celebrating my sister!
Nothing is better than spending time with family--especially when it is on a road trip!
Excited for Thanksgiving this week, and in the spirit of being thankful my family is something I am thankful for everyday!

Photos by super duper superstar Lydia Hudgens.

When I was in New York for work I got to meet up with the best lady ever-Lydia!
We went out to a delicious Vegan dinner, enjoyed wine, bar hopped in the West Village and got to catch up a lot.
Lydia took these pics before I went to work and luckily the weather was very nice, sunny and warm (pre flash snow storm).
I LOVE this Mink Pink dress I snagged from the cutest shop in the Mission- Mira Mira.
Mira herself was at the shop when I stopped by, and let me tell you she is the raddest person ever.  Talking to her as I tried on the whole store brought retail therapy to a whole new level--getting my shopping fix while gabbing with an incredibly awesome and down to earth woman/shop-owner was the ultimate shopping experience!!!
I have more photos to come with pretty goodies from Mira's shop...and I was lucky enough to have Lydia shoot my Mira outfits while I was in New York.
And how lovely is my debut of my gorgeous Coach bag!!!!!!
