Nothing like some Purple Haze lyrics by Jimi Hendrix
Purple haze all in my brain
Lately things just don't seem the same
Actin' funny, but I don't know why
'Scuse me while I kiss the sky
Lately things just don't seem the same
Actin' funny, but I don't know why
'Scuse me while I kiss the sky
Loving these purple pants from Gap--they are comfy and make the perfect Spring pant.
Yellow and Purple are one of my favorite combos, and together they are quite bold--that's why I kept the rest of the look simple.
Styling Tips for Color Blocking
-Bold solid pieces in complimentary colors are best combined when you keep the rest of the look simple
-Nude accessories are a great way to let the colors pop and ground the outfit
-A bold statement accessory works well with bold colors, keeping the look simple yet grounded in key statement pieces
-Neutral accessories also let the colors stand out while adding flair to your outfit
-Pants in a pop colors should be the focus of the outfit, complimented by a solid top in a bold complimentary color or a pattern that works well with the color of the pants
