Shakespeare Garden

dress- Free People (not the same but a very cool/similar inspired style here), garland crown- DIY, shawl jacket- 80s Vintage via Chick-A Boom! Vintage, ring- Free People

This Free people dress has been my go-to piece this Holiday season.
It is so beautiful with the Indian inspired embroidery and sequin detailing, and it reminds me of the detailing on some traditional Saris.
The detailing is so special on the dress that not much else is required to make a complete outfit.
The garland crown I made was the perfect touch to complete this festive dress--and added a nice Midsummer Night's Dream feel to the look.

Elliott suggested we go to the Shakespeare Garden, which is a place I had never been to before in Golden Gate Park.
I was blown away by this enchanting, magical and extremely romantic setting.
What is so magical about this garden is that it holds plants and flowers that are referenced in Shakespeare's actual writings.
In the back on a brick wall are quotations and passages from his plays engraved on stone tablets for all those who enter the garden to read.
This is the perfect spot to visit for inspiration, to enjoy a good book wrapped up in Mother Nature or to enjoy a romantic walk and indulge in some tranquil reflection.
